It is time to plan your sleepover! But, what are the top things to do at a slumber party?

Slumber Parties are a great time to get together with friends and just hang out. Some are more planned than others, but overall most parties include some standard things.

Favorite Sleepover Fun

Some of the most popular things to do at a slumber party are watching movies, plenty of food for grazing, playing games like Truth or Dare or using ideas for makeovers from the Makeover Party page.

It is fun to have things where everyone can participate too - so if you are thinking of doing video games, pick something where those watching will have as much fun as those playing, or have several systems set up. No one wants to sit around with nothing to do. If you do have an activity where everyone will need to take turns, having crafts set up for the others (unless it is something they will definitely want to be watching) is a good "go - to" option.

One great idea is to get creative and do something that will benefit others. You could decorate cupcakes or cookies and deliver them to a fire station or police station.

Another idea is to make blankets for a local children's hospital. Check with them beforehand in case there are any requirements about materials (I've heard that some can't use the fleece ones). Setting up a cutting, ironing, piecing and then sewing assembly line can really be a fun slumber party activity. Anytime you can find a way to serve others and have fun with your friends at the same time is a win-win-win situation in my book.

Getting creative at your party doesn't have to include crafts. How about showing your performing skills instead?

You can show off your talents at a Talent Show theme party, or just have a talent show as one of your activities. You can also plan a mystery party with each guest taking part as a role in the mystery. Read more about those party ideas here:
