For my daughter's 12th birthday, we had a Survivor Party at our house. As guests arrived, they were asked to draw a popsicle stick out of a jar. Whatever color stick they chose was their "tribe" for the party. We had bandanas "buffs" for each tribe that coordinated their team. We then played a 3-legged race,a pudding eating contest(with no hands allowed), a trivia/puzzle game, and an obstacle course in the backyard. Points were awarded after each contest and a winning tribe was named at the end as the "Survivor". All tribes got to take home candy and the winning tribe members each got a movie pass to our local movie theater. Cake, popcorn and drinks were served as refreshments. The party lasted 3 hours.
