Bat Catcher

This game is for six or more players and should be played outside or in an open area. All you need is a blindfold. It's similar to Marco polo.

To play, have everyone form a circle standing arm lengths apart from each other.

Pick one player to be the "bat". Have her come in the middle of the circle and get blindfolded. She can move around during the game, but has to stay in the circle.

Then, pick another player to be the "moth", but don't tell the bat who this is. The rest of the players are "trees" and stand still.

The object of the game is for the bat to use sound to catch her prey, the moth. When the bat calls out "echo", the moth answers "prey",and all the trees answer "tree".

Once the bat tags the moth, the moth becomes the bat and a new moth is picked. The game can go on until everyone has a turn being both roles.

Make sure players can't see when you blindfold them. Also, if a player has glasses, take them off to be kept safe during his or her turn being blindfolded.
