Years ago I threw this Kid Party for Adults when a good friend was celebrating am adult birthday party.
You wouldn’t imagine how much fun all those adults had wearing little party hats and playing musical chairs!
We made this a surprise party, which made it even more fun for the honoree. Enjoy these easy party ideas and games!
Invitations:
Pick out some for a kid’s party. The more colorful the better
Decorations:
Primary colors – LOTS of streamers and balloons
Use sand pails as wine buckets
Use sand pails and toy dump trucks to hold chips
Food: (other than standard chips/dips, etc.)
Kid’s style birthday cake – make it something fun and generic – the more colorful the better.
If serving a meal, offer hot dogs (kids love hot dogs!)
Music:
At the beginning of the party, and during the kid’s game activities play a child’s music CD. Make sure it has lots of great songs on it like Old McDonald Had a Farm, that sort of thing.
Later switch to regular party music.
