Here are a few fun ways to celebrate earth day (as well as protect the planet). Espcially with everyone working together to save our planet, a green party is in order!

Have a tree planting party or plant a butterfly garden!
Get together a group of friends to clean the neighborhood or roads near your home - pick up litter, plant some trees, and then afterwards get together for something good to eat.
Have a craft party - making nature crafts, such as bird feeders or something else that will give back to the animals.
Visit your zoo for their Party for the Planet celebration.
Cake!! In the shape of a globe! (just leave off the superman!)
Make a globe pinata!
For a party, use containers that can be recycled and serve food in small portions so everyone can take just what they need.
Use recipes that use local fruits and vegetables that are in season.
Go on a scavenger hunt for nature items.
Make your own plantable paper.
Eat by candlelight and use cloth napkins.
Have a picnic.
Use cereal boxes to create a playhouse (hot glue them together).
