Christmas is Coming!

That's right! Christmas is coming! Time to get decorations out of the attic, make your list and check it twice.

This year I'll be hosting the family for a Christmas even celebration. Everyone is getting ready to do some sort of "performance". We read the Christmas story and sing Christmas carols. Then, each person has an opportunity to have the spotlight. They might sing a song, play a song on the guitar or piano, or perhaps recite a Christmas poem. Some years we have played a Christmas trivia game as well. I know some families visit their church or watch a holiday movie.

Will you be hosting a holiday party this year? Some favorites a holiday open house or a gingerbread house making party. We have lots of free Christmas party ideas to choose from.

Some of our other popular ideas, according to site visitors, are:

  • Winter Wonderland Party
  • Rudolph Party for Kids
  • Snowman Party
  • Budget Office Party

    Christmas Games

Christmas involves gifts - the gift of Christ and gifts to each other.

    Looking ahead...

I sure do miss my friend Elizabeth. She got married a couple of years ago and moved to the other side of the country with her new husband.

Elizabeth is the type of person who loves to through parties too. Always up for throwing a neighborhood brunch, shower, or birthday party for a friend. She always held a New Years Eve party. Lots of good food on the buffet, friends, music...her house packed every year. Hummm...maybe I should carry on the tradition?

It's never too early to start planning New Years Eve!

Great games for your New Year celebration!
