I love trivia, don't you? How about reindeer trivia?

As a big fan of Rudolph, one of my children decided to gather reindeer facts. Here are some of them:

  • A full grown reindeer can run between 12 and 15 miles an hour pulling a loaded sleigh. They can do this for many hours.
  • Caribou and reindeer are not the same animals. Reindeer are smaller.
  • Reindeer can be found in northern parts of North America, Asia and Europe.
  • Reindeer eat moss called licen. It grows on the ground and on tree bark.
  • Reindeer can carry up to 300 pounds (which is what they weigh!)
  • The fur on the reindeer turns a light color in the winter and a darker color in the summer.
  • People drink reindeer milk, eat reindeer meat, and use their fur for clothes.
  • Now, if you are really interested in trivia, and want to play your own reindeer games, you might like to get some Reindeer printable trivia games (Affiliate Link) at PrintGamesNow.com.

At some point, I'll add some images of reindeers to this site.

If you have anything to add to this page, please share!...otherwise, I'll be on a quest! :-)
